*JOB SUMMARY*
This full-time, at-will position is responsible for Billing and Budget Management data management, Medicaid Waiver billing for the Area 2 Agency on Aging.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES *include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
1.
Manages all aspects of Medicaid Waiver billing for the agency (CM, Specs and Exams, Pest and NUTS, HDM).
2.
Provides A2AA Vendors with Medicaid Waiver denied billing assistance and refers the vendor to state field representative as needed.
3.
Prepares and posts deposits; Medicaid Waiver, Senior Solutions, PACE, Cost Share, and Milton.
4.
Manages the Community Transition Billing.
5.
Prepares various IHCDA/ICAA claims to state, including IAA adjustments.
6.
Prepares various close out reporting documents for IHCDA/EAP claims annually or as needed.
7.
Prepares, tracks and scans invoices/claims for CSBG sub grantees.
8.
Prepares billing for Milton ADS and Transportation, and Private Pay.
9.
Prepares the Pay Point report for program review and processes the Pay Point claim to FSSA.
10.
Monitors state update information to billing processes/systems and notifies director of relevant information.
11.
Manages help desk tickets for the BBM department as well as Waiver start dates for service coordinators.
12.
Assists with year-end close-out procedures for all funding sources.
13.
Assists Billing and Budget Management (BBM) Director in generating reports, as needed.
14.
Other duties as may be assigned and/or requested from time to time in fulfillment of the agency’s mission.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
· Serves as the primary contact person for Medicaid Waiver and Alzheimer’s Services billing.
· Serves as the primary reviewer of state updates.
· Provides monthly benchmark and financial reports to BBM Director including Title IIID unit reports.
*EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS*
Associates degree in finance, management or accounting required, Bachelor Degree preferred.
· Database and spreadsheet experience required.
· Knowledge of various funding sources preferred.
· Background in accounting and/or statistics helpful.
*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED*
· Knowledge of the operation of office equipment, including but not limited to: computer equipment, printers, multi-line telephones, fax machines, and copy machines.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Ability to accurately follow instructions and procedures.
· Ability to accurately perform responsibilities to completion.
· Ability and attitude to work cooperatively and productively with staff, vendors and clients.
· Willingness and ability to work with many different software programs

The work consists of repetitive processes.
Accuracy of data entry and attention to detail and deadlines are critical to the ability of this department to provide accurate, timely, and helpful information.

· Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and a dependable vehicle required.

· Proof of educational credentials is required at the time of employment.
