Patrick Industries Corporate Office is hiring a Credit Analyst to join our growing Team! Working closely with the Credit Team, the Analyst is responsible for determining Customers’ creditworthiness and act as a gatekeeper to the financial allowance granted to Customers.
In this role, the Credit Analyst will analyze financial data to assess the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligations.

*Responsibilities and Duties:*
The Credit Analyst will work to assess Customers’ financial statements and determines their ability to repay loans to the Company.
To be successful in this role, the analyst will strive to elevate the mix of company sales and eliminate bad debt losses.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Assess creditworthiness of existing or prospective Customers
* Uphold the Corporate credit policy
* Develop relationships with internal and external Customers
* Consult with Customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions
* Keep Customer credit files updated appropriately and conduct organized, periodic credit reviews
* Carefully analyze data and produce clear and objective reports based on findings
* Examine financial transactions and credit history case by case (applications, statements, balance sheets, legal documents, etc.
)
* Review individual or commercial Customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection
* Uphold the application of discounts
*Qualifications and Skills:*
Bachelor's Degree mandatory, Business, Accounting/Finance or related field preferred
* Candidates must have 4 or more years of proven credit experience
* Those with experience in manufacturing are highly desired
* Experience maintaining national accounts at a Corporate level desired
* Should have knowledge of current legal, compliance and market risk related issues
* Experience with credit scoring systems preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to assimilate data to convey both strategic and tactical messaging in a clear, concise and professional manner
* Self-motivated with proven track record showing the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently with limited oversight
* Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
* Strong analytical/critical thinking
* A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities
