SUMMARY: The Plant Controller is primary responsible for supporting the Manufacturing facility and is responsible for assisting with financial controls.
The position will interact with management, sales and operations and provide support for the achievement of business objectives and growth initiatives.
Plant Controller is responsible for monthly operational reporting, planning, monthly closing, audit, and analysis of variances from budget and forecast.
This position reports to the VP of Finance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following

Budgeting and Forecasting.
Maintain General ledger.
Monthly workpapers and other financial schedules.
Support Audit requests.
Support Production Control.
Manage and support IT initiatives.

Maintain compliance of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001.
Follows all safety, housekeeping and company policies and procedures.
Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and job assignments as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 3 – 5 years financial experience in a manufacturing environmentpreferred.
2 -4 years management experience in an office setting preferred.
Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.
Knowledge of SAP, AS/400 and Mainframe systems preferred.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail orientated and interpersonal skills.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
