Collections Representative - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)
SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing collection activities associated with various delinquent accounts.
Reviews delinquent accounts, determines probable reasons for account status, and contacts members to resolve the delinquencies.
Discusses possible financial arrangements and suggests financial options to arrive at suitable payment arrangements.
Utilizes various techniques, as circumstances indicate, to promptly collect on delinquent accounts.
Ensures the Company's professional image is maintained.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Basic understanding of collection policies, procedures and related laws and regulations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory customer service experience.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Must have demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
Accuracy and thoroughness in work.
Excellent communication, telephone and public relations skills.
Ability to work well independently.
