Payment Operations Specialist - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)
This is a Hybrid Work Eligible position.
You will be required to come into the Operations Center in Berrien Springs, MI as needed to ensure business needs are met.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Completes all ACH processing and supports NOCs, ELPs, Magic Wrighter, and disputes.
Processes share drafts, exceptions, and chargebacks.
Monitors P2P transactions, bill payments, RDCs, and other electronic transactions daily for potentially fraudulent activity for members.
Actively identifies patterns of potential fraud or losses and communicates with fraud to mitigate losses by completing adjustments or putting holds on accounts.
Ensures RDC enrollments and approvals are completed timely and daily to minimize member impact.
Completes treasury reclamations for deceased members.
Supports the training of team members on Payment Operations processes as needed.
Works with vendors such as Magic Wrighter, I-pay, ELP, and the Fed to complete operational duties.
Assists all other operation team as needed.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One to three years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
Ability to hold in-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature.
Be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
Robust knowledge of banking products and services.
Must be highly detailed.
Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.
