PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.
ESTABLISH, UPDATE AND COMMUNICATE CREDIT TERMS INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY.
2.
COLLECT FUNDS FROM THE ACCOUNT BASE WITH FOCUS ON PAST DUE ACCOUNTS, CHARGEBACKS AND ACCOUNTS EXCEEDING THEIR CREDIT GUIDE.
ENSURE COLLECTIONS NOTES ARE UPDATED DURING EACH ENCOUNTER.
3.
PROVIDE THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK TO FACILATE CUSTOMERS’ PAYMENT PROCESSING.
FOR EXAMPLE, COPIES OF MISSING INVOICES AND PROOF OF DELIVERIES SHOULD BE SENT UPON REQUEST.
4.
RESEARCH AND FOLLOW UP WITH CUSTOMER CHARGEBACKS AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO RESOLVE ALL DISPUTES.
5.
CONSULT CFO FOR ADVICE ON COMPLEX CREDIT PROBLEMS REQUIRING A SIGNIFICANT DEVIATION FROM ASA’S CREDIT POLICY.
6.
WORK CLOSELY WITH THE VPS OF SALES TO CREATE AND MANAGE CO-OP ADVERTISING, REBATE AND OTHER CUSTOMER SALES INCENTIVE PROGRAMS.
HOLD QUARTERLY MEETINGS TO REVIEW THE PROJECTED BUDGET, ACTUAL EXPENSES AND EXCESS ACCRUALS.
7.
PREPARE SCHEDULES AND AID WITH THE MONTHLY FINANCIAL CLOSING PROCESS AND ANNUAL FINANCIAL AUDIT.
8.
PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT AS NEEDED.
