Senior Accountant

*Position Introduction* The Senior Accountant is responsible for multiple accounting functions within the Finance Office.
The Senior Accountant will work extensively with the general ledger and related accounting modules.
Duties include but are not limited to reconciliations and preparing journal entries for month-end transactions.
*Job Description* The Senior Accountant will post the daily cash receipts and investigate incoming wires and ACH transactions, and conduct monthly GL review and reclass entries as needed.
This position will assist other Finance Office staff and assume other responsibilities as needed.
The Senior Account establishes, reconciles, and maintains accounting records within assigned areas of responsibility, and prepares for approval and review, journal entries, as well as provides information to substantiate individual transactions.
