In our active town office, this part-time role is a blend of utility billing expertise, front desk interaction, and a variety of administrative responsibilities.

What we're looking for: Someone with a high school diploma or GED, ideally with experience in utility billing or a similar field.
A professional in both attire and communication, capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.
A detail-oriented individual with solid time management skills, comfortable with mathematical calculations and customer service.
A team player who’s adaptable and ready to assist with a variety of tasks as needed.
Your day-to-day: Take the lead on utility billing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing and managing accounts.
Spend a portion of your time at the front desk, greeting visitors and managing calls with a welcoming demeanor.
Engage in various administrative tasks, supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth operation of our office.
Balance a mix of responsibilities, from data entry to customer inquiries, and occasional physical office tasks.
Office hours are 8:00 am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday.
This is a part-time position with no more than 30 hours/week.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment, which may involve lifting/carrying objects weighing less than 25 pounds.
The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear.
The employee may spend long hours sitting at a desk or in front of a computer, which can lead to health problems such as sore muscles, aches and pains, headaches, strained vision, repetitive stress injuries, obesity, stress, and blood clots.
