What you’ll do
Execute precise client accounting services, including payroll preparation
Analyze financial statements and balance sheets comprehensively
Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs, offering expert guidance
Develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities for small business owners
Interpret and apply knowledge from business literature, journals, and government regulations
What You Bring
Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (minimum), CPA certification or on the path to becoming a CPA (Indiana CPA License preferred)
Expertise in tax law knowledge, including 1120S, 1065, 1040, and 1120, and tax planning
Prior experience with Thomson Accounting and Tax software is desirable
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word essential
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Creative problem-solving abilities
Ability to read a financial statement, analyze a balance sheet and prepare projections for clients
