Schedule : In-office, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
How You’ll Do It
As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Verifies and pays invoices or employee expenses, executes check or payment runs, reconciles balances and maintains records.
Sets up and maintains vendors or suppliers in the accounting systems.
Ensures transactions are timely and accurate, and that expenses are accurately coded and allocated.
Responds to inquiries from vendors or employees and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies.
Assists in year-end or monthly/quarterly accounting procedures.
All other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
Previous experience in accounting, preferred
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Communication – communicates effectively, in verbal and written formats, with all levels of staff, customers, and temporary employees
Teamwork – supports needs of corporate and branch personnel in conjunction with Department Manager, maintains a positive, professional attitude
Time Management/Prioritizing – exercises strong time management skills and shifts priorities as needed
Organization – ability to manage workload while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail
Self-Directed – Works with minimal supervision, continuously strives to grow in skill set and take initiative, makes suggestions for process improvements
Basic knowledge of accounting computer system
