This role in summary
Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Manager opening to join our Global Information Technology organization supporting EMEA, North America and Corporate Center Finance.
This is a US based role that leads IT processes in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA).
Your responsibilities will include
Lead IT support to manage processes for the EMEA region
Successfully provide IT support in the preparation, review, and filing of statutory financial statements for European region
Coordination with 3rd pares IT applications, management of deliverables in line with engagement agreements, and management of fees
Responsible to provide IT support to the finance functions to manage Entry level income statements and balance sheets
Responsible to provide IT support for the maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies within the Europe region
Provide IT support to intercompany accounting and oversee the recording of entries between group companies
Assist with tax compliance and reporting requirements, for both direct and indirect taxes, across Europe
Management of day-to-day IT finance operations in Europe as required
Other ad hoc finance projects as directed, e.
g.
, analysis of new products and expansions in Europe
Lead and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and achievement of desired outcomes
Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience supporting the EMEA region financial processes
5+ years of experience working as a liaison between a technical team, functional and business process owners
Preferred skills and experiences
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems
MBA or Masters in Computers Science or related field
SAP S4 HANA Experience
Experience in developing a data modeling strategy
Intercompany accounting experience
Exposure to transfer pricing and indirect taxes
PMP or Scrum certification
Preferred languages English/Dutch/Italian
Demonstrated strong communication skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complex cross-functional issues to multiple audience
