Whirlpool is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of a *Manager, Supply & Logistics*.
This role will be onsite in Benton Harbor, MI.
The WMS Implementation team is responsible for implementing a new Warehouse Management System to all Whirlpool’s 29 sites including FDCs, RDCs, Kitchen Aid and Small warehouses.
The team will be in close interface with the WMS software provider, implementation consultancies and multiple Whirlpool teams, especially Customer Fulfillment and IT.
In this role you will be responsible for the discovery, design and validation of the processes to be incorporated into a new Warehouse Management System (WMS
In this role you could be involved with Inbound Logistics and Yard Management, Outbound Logistics, Labor Management, Inventory, Data and Quality Management or Customization/Kitting.
*Your responsibilities will include*
* Assist the WMS provider’s team with Functional Application Reviews (FAR) preparation and execution
* Learn relevant system configuration processes
* Lead integrated system testing
* Participate in the system design and blueprint phase
* Test programs before being moved from test to production.
Serve as a single point of contact for moving
* programs
* Participate in the Train the Trainer (TTT) activities
* Participate in the YMS ( Yard Management System) implementation
* Define key metrics for post-implementation phase and what success looks like
*Minimum requirements*
* Bachelor Degree
* 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Order Management
*Preferred skills and experiences*
* Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Operations
* Knowledge of Whirlpool’s standard work process for all roles throughout the warehouses
* Experience with key metrics of the facilities and how they are reported
* Lead integrated system testing
* Technical/Product Knowledge: SAP.
WMS and/or YMS experience is a differential
* Design Thinking experience.
* Experience with IT interface, integration, system design or system maintenance
* Communication, leadership, organization, project management and change management skills
* Manage through or escalate issues, taking accountability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $96,100.
00 - $114,800.
00 per year
