Colson Group USA is seeking a Material Handler for the St.
Joseph manufacturing location.
Preferred candidates will have prior training and experience in the operation of material handling equipment.
The position summary: The selected candidate must be a member of a team with the responsibility to maintain efficient flow of material in and out of the warehouse associated with proper placement of material into assembly, picking orders for shipment or returning the product to the warehouse as necessary.
The candidate must be able to operate gas or electric powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment in order to perform the essential duties of the position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
Entry of material into a warehouse inventory location.
Picking orders for outbound customer requirements.
Picking orders for assembly operations.
Return materials to stock as necessary.
Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
Perform all transactions in Epicor to ensure inventory accuracy.
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
Receives materials from outside sources.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, short correspondence, and memos as well as verbal instruction.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain a Forklift License, and/or powered industrial truck license.
