*Overview*
The Production Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
The position is responsible to develop processes that will maximize safety, stewardship, quality, and productivity.
*Work Requirements*
· Enforce safety requirements, including workers wearing proper PPE
· Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day production to exceed our customers’ expectations
· Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
· Responsible for production output, product quality, and completing scheduled orders on-time
· Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
· Implement procedures in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
· Monitor production and trigger corrective actions
· Engage with and share a trusting relationship with production staff.
Recruit, manage, and develop production staff
· Collect and analyze data to find sources of waste or overtime
· Working with HR, address employees’ issues.
Hire and ensure employees are trained.
Terminate as necessary.
· Influence and learn from staff by working with and engaging them
· Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
· Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
· Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes
· Computer literacy
· Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
· Provide all required daily and weekly reports.
· Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
· Perform employee evaluations, develop and grow others for the better of the individual and the company

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.
00 - $70,000.
