The Lebermuth Company is currently looking for an Inside Sales Associate to join our team.
Lebermuth is a family owned, ingredient manufacturer, specializing in essential oils and custom-developed fragrance and flavor blends.
We serve the personal care, home fragrance and fragrance/flavor reseller markets.

Summary: As an Inside Sales Associate, you are responsible for connecting with customers, both over the phone and digitally, to understand their business needs, identify areas for business growth, and ensure customer satisfaction to meet or exceed sales goals and drive revenue growth.
Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Build, maintain, and grow current customers by building strong, long-term relationships to foster repeat business year over year.
Continually expand knowledge base of products and solutions to articulate the benefits of Lebermuth product offerings to use in your sales pitch.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to achieve customer satisfaction and drive sales.
Negotiate pricing and propose solutions based on customer needs to close the sale.
Maintain records of customer transactions, contact information, opportunities, requests, and communications in the ERP and CRM system accurately and efficiently.
Actively prospect for new customers by cold calling and through warming campaigns.
Familiarize yourself with target accounts and contacts by understanding their pain points, needs and buying behaviors and tailor your sales approach accordingly.
Work towards achieving and exceeding monthly sales goals and yearly sales goals.
Utilize market collateral, industry insights, and marketing trend analysis to effectively promote Lebermuth and gain opportunities for new sales each quarter.
Strive to promote a safe food culture by maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to all quality and safety standards within the department to ensure the safe production and shipment of quality food products.

Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent, and completion of college coursework preferred.
Experience: 2 + years of proven experience in inside sales or similar role; or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Certifications: NA Functional Skills: Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
Strong negotiation skills.
Eagerness to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
An understanding of the business principles of gross margin, cost of goods sold and net profit.
Supportive and customer-oriented; extremely detail-oriented.
Excellent organization skills, strong project management and prioritization skills to meet timelines.
Ability to create future sales strategies and solutions on new and current accounts.

Ability to exercise sound and accurate judgement.
Technology Aptitude/Skills: Strong working knowledge of CRM systems; MS Office applications; and manufacturing, inventory control and order processing software.

Ability to write correspondence that is professional in both content and tone.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from both internal and external customers, and vendors.

Ability to write ideas/information in a logical flow for 5+ hours per day.
Ability to read and respond due to nature of work, frequently throughout the day.
Ability to communicate with others via phone, in-person, and computer frequently.
Ability to listen to internal and external customers, problem-solve, and respond accordingly, frequently throughout the day.
Ability to lift to 15 lbs.

The employee is primarily exposed to a normal office environment with moderate noise.
The employee is occasionally required to wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment while visiting Operations areas.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to perfumes and airborne particles in an office environment.
Ability to work onsite at our South Bend office.
Ability to work 8am - 5pm Monday – Friday, but schedule may vary (to include evenings and/or weekends) due to business needs.
