Job Description
Your Challenge
Lead the site maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure
Ensure that all technical processes in the plant are reliable, cost-effective and meet M+H and legal standards
Install, manage and improve all Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Processes on plant level in timely manner
Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting gaps and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes
Support the specification and development of new production equipment based on lessons learned from maintenance.
Contribute to continuous improvement for existing equipment and processes
Define and contribute to generation and application of best practices in maintenance
Plan required resources and budget for fulfilling maintenance tasks
Ensure that all relevant internal and external norms and standards (e.
g.
, ISO/IATF) are applied
Contribute to improvement of plant carbon footprint
Lead, direct, develop and coordinate a high-performance team of electricians, tooling specialists, maintenance technicians, and facility managers
Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed
Your Profile
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, or a combination of technical certifications along with 5 or more years’ experience in a technical field
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ working experience in maintenance management of a large manufacturing plant
Required Skills:
Knowledge in applying IATF 16949, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements
Leadership skills and team development
Proven track record of Maintaining/Repairing/Improving Production processes
Familiar with HSE requirements in Production
Proven track record of reducing overall maintenance costs
Applying TPM methods
Preferred Skills:
Familiar with required production processes and working processes (e.
g.
, plastic injection molding, plastic welding, assembly, robotics)
Experience in Maintenance for a Tier 1 Automotive OE Supplier
Familiar with Total Quality Management, LEAN methodologies
