Job Title: TSLOTS Designer

Reports To: Supervisor with direction from Team Leader
Shift Day / Hours: 8 hr.
shifts (Mon-Fri) (7:00 AM- 3:00 PM)
Starting Pay: Starting at $18 per hour.
TSLOTS Designers are critical to the growth of TSLOTS.
Since the responsibilities of this role vary widely, a candidate must be adaptable and dedicated to the success of the product line.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
Add incoming RFQs to the queue and set clear expectations with customers.
Communicate with customers via phone and email.
Delegate requests to inside sales based on the nature of the request.
Critically analyze drawings or 3D models and communicate any necessary changes to the customer.
Create models and drawings in SolidWorks for customers based on basic sketches or descriptions.
Determine the feasibility of customer requests.
Anticipate any challenges and work with production to overcome them.
Obtain pricing for non-standard items and determine list price.
Complete New Item# Request forms.
Generate quotes based on customer requests.
Create and maintain quote folders.
Communicate with production and purchasing to deliver accurate lead times to customers.
Create machining and assembly drawings based on input from production in the print tracker.
Communicate the customer's needs to production staff through explicit instruction, drawings, and 3d models.
Inspect assemblies for dimensional accuracy and overall quality prior to shipment.
Conversational CNC programming
Act upon customer complaints through the creation of quotes for replacement parts and quote revisions.
Review customer complaints and close the loop with notes and action.
Develop/design jigs and tooling for production processes.
Support production with waste stoppers, and continuous improvement.
Support marketing by assisting in new product development and the creation of technical drawings.
Support RSMs by participating in customer calls and visits.
What You Will Need:
1+ years of Manufacturing experience.
Strong understanding of TSLOTS processes and values preferred.
Interpersonal skills - ability to confidently interact with individuals at all levels.
Ability to communicate complex concepts to any audience.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft office products
