Purpose:
Responsible for loading and unloading delivery trucks, stocking materials, operating equipment such as fork lifts.
Essential Job Functions:
Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials.
Move materials to and from loading docks and safely stock material in designated storage areas.
Stock shelves using FIFO method.
Prepares finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing crating, loading, and securing product.
Operate trucks, forklift and other equipment to move freight.
Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
Follows written work instructions.
Adheres to all saftey guidelines.
Assumes additional responsibilties and performs special projects as needed or directed.
Required Qualifications:
Education, Training and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience in warehouse setting.
Knowledge, Skills and abilities:
Pays close attention to detail.
Demonstrates problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues.
Maintains a high level of energy and a consistent positive attitude.
Able to work on foot for long periods of time.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to drive a hi-low truck.

Physical Demands:
Nature of work requires an ability to operate in a standard warehousing environment.
Requires ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs idenpendently.
May require evening and weekend hours as business needs demand.
